One of the characteristics of the 21th century appears to be the narrow specialization. Humanity wants to know still more and more circumstances and details from arbitrary spheres on life. Professionals of one field understand professionals from another field with great challenge. Therefore is the life of Igor Kalinauskas; who managed to become an important professional in various parts of life – a psychiatrist and philosopher, a musician, an artist, so much interesting. One person, one life.
Igor Kalinauskas was born in the year 1945. He finished school of Skutchin in Moscow, department of directing. He is a professor of psychology. He was engaged into observations in the field of practical psychology for the last 30 years. Methods created by him have vast application.
In the year 1985, Igor Kalinauskas began to work in the department of physical education and sport – field of coaching. He works as a psychiatrist with sport champions. Members of Ukrainian and Soviet Union lightweight athletic teams were trained by his methods. R. Povarnicyn who became world champion in high jump in the 1984 belonged to this team as well.
Igor Kalinauskas works as a psychologist at the Kyjev university of radiation medicine since 1986. He vindicates his dissertational thesis themed “Some aspects of pathological adaptation of personality”, on the basis of materials, research and observations of psychological personalities of people, who have been liquidating the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear plant explosion.
Igor Nikolajevitch Kalinauskas becomes a member of the Academy of Regional Problems, Informatics and Control on 22. January 1996. The International Academy “Information, Connection, Control in Technology, Nature, Society” awarded him the title Professor in the specialization “Philosophy and psychology of personality.
Igor Nikolajevitch Kalinauskas has been elected as a member of International Academy of Science and Culture in San Francisco in the year 1999. He was awarded by the very same academy the title doctor of philosophy in the field of “Philosophy and psychology of personality” and the field “Socionics” the same year.
The presidium of International academy “Information, Connection, Control in Technology, Nature, Society” awarded him with “for specific credit to science” honors in May 15 th 2001.
Centers teaching his DFS method and the active self-regulation methods are located in many large cities of Russia, Ukraine, Baltic countries, Slovakia and Czech Republic. This method finds its application in the process of actor education, preparation of sportsmen, in work with children and in a wide circle of people, who wish to improve their ability of adaptation to surrounding environment and hence increase their creative potential.
